In my article "Hunger the Worst Enemy of Peace in Yemen" I stated how low funding for the UN World Food Programme's relief operation is having a devastating effect on that impoverished nation. While Yemen may seem far away to most people, it does not mean you cannot take action to help end suffering.
Do you have a blog, a web site, a Facebook or Twitter account? Then you can do something to help children in Yemen who have not received a UN school feeding distribution since last June. You can help Yemenis, displaced by conflict in the northern part of the country, who are now having their rations cut while living in camps. These rations will go to zero if new funding is not found. The peace process will be destroyed if there is hunger and suffering. You can help. Here are some ideas below.
