Update on Save the Children's food relief mission in the Swat Valley of Pakistan

Kate Conradt of Save the Children provides an update on a mission to provide food to victims of the flooding in northern Pakistan. Last week a Save the Children team walked 50km in two days to reach the town of Kalam in the Swat Valley.

This area has known nothing but tragedy recently. Just last year this was the site of the battles between the Pakistani army and the Taliban militants. Now the people of the Swat Valley are victimized once again, this time by the massive floods and food shortages.
