The Providence Phoenix ran a story recently about Edesia, the non-profit company that produces ready-to-eat foods to treat child malnutrition. Edesia has shipped these foods to Haiti, Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other countries. Aid agencies, including the World Food Programme and Action Against Hunger, distribute the food to save children from deadly malnutrition.
