Joseph Henry is a Master's of Public Health student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He is also an avid runner and is using his talents to help combat global hunger.
On February 9th, Henry will start the Hunger 500 run from the White House in Washington, D.C. all the way to the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. The goal is to raise awareness about hunger and funds for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). The run culminates at the start of the 6th Annual Universities Fighting World Hunger (UFWH) Summit. Joe recently took time to answer questions about the Hunger 500.
