The UN World Food Programme (WFP) said today
it's feeding displaced persons at Bangui International Airport in the
Central African Republic. This was the first distribution of food in
three weeks at the airport because of violence in the nation's capital.
WFP says food will be distributed to all 100,000 people at the
airport over the next 10 days. French and African peacekeeping troops
are providing security.
