Typhoon Hagupit: Save the Children prepares emergency response
Typhoon Hagupit is hours away from the Philippines,
bringing 150 mile per hour winds and heavy rains. Even more tragic is
that the storm is headed toward the same area leveled by last year’s
Typhoon Haiyan.

Food can save education for Syrian refugees
A great tragedy is unfolding in the Middle East with the children of
Syria. A civil war, now in its 4th year, has forced over three million
Syrians to flee to neighboring countries, including Jordan and Iraq.
About half of these war victims are children.
