URI students save the lives of 85 children and counting

Last month on the Huffington Post I wrote a feature on a unique St. Patrick’s Day celebration started by University of Rhode Island students. Their idea was to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, but to use the event to feed malnourished children across the globe.

William Lambers is an author, journalist, historian and Charity Miles All-Star. He is a blogger for the Huffington Post. Lambers was named a Future Five Award Winner at the Mount St. Joseph University Jubilee in 2015. He is also a member of the Feeding America Blogger Council.
